Archie & Friends #122

Part two of "The Crooked Comic Con Caper" arrives in this 2008 installment, and the cover sets the tension perfectly — Archie stands front and center looking thoroughly rattled, clutching an orange garment, while Veronica, Jughead (sporting his signature crown), and Betty react with wide-eyed alarm behind him. A looming shadowy figure on the right edge hints at whatever trouble has the whole gang on edge. Fernando Ruiz and Jim Amash deliver a wonderfully expressive cover that makes it hard not to flip straight to the story.
