“Model Shopper”

In "Model Shopper," Dilton devises a bold plan to promote Chuck's new comic strip, "Wonder Dude," by turning the fictional hero into a real-life sensation—complete with a town full of costumed volunteers. As the Wonder Dudes spring into action, helping residents and stopping petty crimes, their heroic antics attract an unexpected challenge: a supervillain of their own making. Art by Bill Golliher, with a cover by Dan DeCarlo and Henry Scarpelli, this 1999 Archie Comics Digest issue blends classic small-town charm with a playful superhero twist.
