“Rhyme For Romance”

In "Rhyme For Romance," Archie finds himself caught in a harmless misunderstanding when Veronica sends him to fetch a garden hose—only for Midge to mishear and think he’s shopping for stockings. The mix-up sets off a series of awkward moments, especially when Moose, eager to help, heads straight for a lingerie shop, drawing curious glances from the entire gang. With Bill Vigoda’s expressive art capturing every blush and flustered glance, this 1953 classic brings small-town charm and lighthearted comedy to life, all on a 10-cent cover by Samm Schwartz.
