In "Video Rodeo," Archie and Reggie find themselves playing opposite roles in a wild dance-off at a video rodeo, each pretending to be one half of Veronica's prized horse—only to end up bucking uncontrollably from their own pranks. As the chaos unfolds, their antics accidentally set the stage for Veronica to win a date with Western movie star Tex Starr.

When Betty discovers Jughead is penning love poems for Archie to send to Veronica, she decides to outdo him—by having Jughead fabricate a fake diary full of her own imagined romantic adventures, hoping it’ll catch Archie’s eye and earn her a date.
