This 24th installment of the Archie Giant Series Annual captures the gang's sunny side in fine 1972 form, with a tennis court setting that delivers instant charm. Dan DeCarlo's cover shows Archie happily embracing a blonde opponent over the net — apparently taking "good loser" sportsmanship to a whole new level — while a dark-haired onlooker (Veronica, tennis racket in hand) watches with obvious disapproval. Up top, a second comedic vignette shows another pair of teens in a starter's crouch, squeezing even more laughs into this oversized package of Riverdale fun.
