Archie and Me #96
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeOn the golf course, Archie swings away while his mind — and his speech bubble — drifts straight to pizza, much to the exasperation of a portly, plaid-trousered companion standing beside a golf bag, with a bemused blonde looking on and an "Al's Pizza" billboard conveniently looming in the background. Even the corner vignette gets in on the fun, showing two figures fleeing a very irritated bear. Archie and Me #96 captures that warm, goofy charm the series does so well, and with George Gladir's writing and art by Bob Bolling, this 1977 issue promises the kind of easygoing humor that makes it a delight to flip through.
