Riverdale High is celebrating Renaissance Day, and the cover by Stan Goldberg and Bob Smith captures the medieval mayhem perfectly — Archie decked out as a jester, scepter in hand, leans in as a dark-haired girl in a sorceress costume demands "Kiss me, you fool!", while a thoroughly unamused Reggie looks on in full king's regalia. It's the kind of cheerful, comedic energy that makes Archie comics such a reliable good time, and this 2004 issue pairs that fun cover with an interior story, "The Elevenaire," brought to life by the same creative team.
