Archie #539
In "A Knight to Remember," Archie takes on the role of a troubadour at a Renaissance fair, quickly finding himself dragged into the more rugged pursuits of jousting and swordplay—where he’s hilariously outmatched. Despite his lack of skill with a lance or blade, the real star of the day remains the one with the song, as the girls still gather around him in full force. Written by George Gladir and brought to life with vibrant art by Stan Goldberg, inks by Bob Smith, and colors by Barry Grossman, this 2003 issue captures a classic slice of Riverdale charm with a medieval twist—complete with a cover by Goldberg and Smith that perfectly captures the fun.
