Archie Andrews has never looked more entrepreneurial — on this Stan Goldberg and Henry Scarpelli cover, he's wheeling a luggage cart piled high with backpacks outside Riverdale High School, cheerfully offering to haul the girls' gear while Betty, Veronica, and a crowd of classmates look on with varying degrees of amusement. A sign advertising the service "free of charge" and Archie's own muttered "I wish I had thought of that!" set a perfectly breezy, good-natured tone for this November 1999 issue. With a full Riverdale cast assembled and one of Archie's characteristically well-meaning schemes on display, it's a charming snapshot of small-town teen life done with warmth and humor.
