In this playful 1968 parody, Archie finds himself tangled in a capital-T "Trouble" — rhyming with P, standing for Pool — as the sparkling backyard pool at Veronica’s house becomes an irresistible temptation. With a wink to classic musicals, the story follows Archie as he’s tempted to live large, even if his wallet’s too small to keep up.

In "Paint by Number," Archie’s dad assigns him the chore of painting the house, but when the girls hear about it, they show up in full force—offering help that’s more trouble than it’s worth. With paintbrushes and good intentions, they turn a simple job into a chaotic mess, much to Archie’s Pop’s growing dismay.

When Archie hits rock bottom financially, Veronica devises a clever plan to help him—without making him feel humiliated. She stages a chance discovery of money, but soon Archie’s newfound wealth starts changing him in ways she never expected.
