Los monstruos que salieron del fondo del Océano Atlántico, atacan un barco pesquero devorando a todos sus tripulantes, con deseo de más comida se dirigen a hacia Beachrock en búsqueda de más víctimas. Aquaman y Mera están en su hogar viendo unas fotografías de la infancia de Arthur. Un oficial de policía llega pidiéndoles ayuda, los lleva al puerto donde empiezan a investigar. Mientras un equipo de buzos encuentra un extraño capullo protegido por una fuerte concha, aparecen nuevamente los monstruos por lo que Aquaman y Mera entranr en acción y comienzan a luchar contra ellos.
