From Dell's summer 1963 lineup comes this cheerful installment of Alvin, featuring the mischievous chipmunk himself at the controls of a grinning little locomotive called the "Fireball," with Simon and Theodore riding along as the whole crew shouts "Toot! Toot!" against a sunny yellow background. It's a wonderfully energetic snapshot of the trio's animated charm, translated perfectly onto the comics page. Writer Don Segall brings the fun inside with a story titled "Spoiled Brat" — and given who's driving that train, you can probably guess things won't stay on track for long.
