Alpha Flight brings Snowbird to a place of power so Shaman can deliver Snowbird's baby. Unfortunately, the spot they have chosen is the burial place of Pestilence and the birthing process awakens him. Talisman gloats that she know this secret but allowed Shaman to proceed so that Alpha Flight can see him fail. Pestilence turns on Talisman and pulls the mystic coronet from her head.
