Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #4
Case No. 004 puts two formidable figures front and center — a blue-skinned warrior woman with flowing hair and glowing armor squaring off in close-quarters combat against a masked, dark-clad fighter gripping batons — while crime scene tape stamped "AVENGERS CRIME SCENE" frames the bottom of the image and a burning island smolders in the distant background. Mike Norton's cover crackles with kinetic tension, capturing the "Standoff" crossover energy that runs through Marc Guggenheim's "Reversals of Fortune." With Germán Peralta on interior art and Rachelle Rosenberg's colors throughout, this fourth installment of "The Coulson Protocols" looks like a thoroughly satisfying chapter in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s 2016 lineup.
