Aquaman and Aqualad battle Professor Enos Snark who is supplying pirates with technology to help them rob ships. Snark develops a machine that removes salt from sea water making Aquaman's aquatic allies weak in the fresh water. Aquaman is able to fit his creatures with frogman tanks full of salt water thus allowing them to destroy Snark's machine and help Aquaman defeat him.
