In the 31st century, Earth-Man and his Justice League discover that Superman has returned. Superman and his colleagues attack an alien holding camp, trying to find Brainiac 5. Dawnstar discovers that Brainy has teleported back to Colu. They free Polar Boy, and escape to their underground headquarters. They send the other aliens they rescued to another planet, but Earth-Man, using Saturn Girl's stolen powers, tracks them, and he and the Justice League attack. Superman's team is placed in a shuttle for Colu, but are captured by the intelligence collection of Colu, led by Brainiac 5.
