Absolute Batman #17

Part one of "The Seventh Kingdom" arrives with a cover by Nick Dragotta that sets a striking tone: Poison Ivy sits serenely enthroned atop a massive, gnarled tree, her flowing red hair and leafy costume commanding the scene, while below her a heavily armored Batman is ensnared and nearly swallowed by twisting wooden roots. The image frames a clear power dynamic — nature ascendant, the Dark Knight at its mercy — and promises something genuinely unsettling in the chapters ahead. Scott Snyder and Eric Canete are on board for what looks to be a compelling new arc in this 2026 series.
