A Distant Soil #1
Colleen Doran's science fiction fantasy saga launches here with "Immigrant Song," published by Starblaze Graphics in 1987 — and the cover alone signals something genuinely special. A red-haired young woman in blue gazes upward with wide, searching eyes, while behind her a luminous white-haired figure stretches toward a towering spire of light erupting against an alien sky of orange and violet, ringed planets hanging in the distance. With cover inks by Doran and Lee Moyer bringing every cosmic detail to life, this is an atmospheric introduction to a world that clearly has a lot to say.
