2000 AD and Starlord #98

This February 1979 prog from IPC's beloved weekly anthology features a cover by Brian Bolland that's genuinely hard to look away from — a cackling, caped villain commands a pack of enormous, snapping dinosaurs while one of them levels what appears to be a heavy weapon directly at the reader, with cover text taunting "Slicey-Slicey, Oncey-Twicey, Claw and Fang'll Kill Dredd Nicely!" Bolland's line work brings every reptilian scale and gleaming fang to vivid life, perfectly capturing the unhinged menace of the scene. Judge Dredd fans will want this one in their collection for the sheer bravado of its imagery alone.
