A massive armoured robot — Armoured Gideon himself — towers over a grotesque crowd of demons and alien creatures, fist raised against a sky cracking with lightning, in this March 1990 prog from Fleetway. Simon Jacob's cover art is delightfully dense with bizarre, leering figures swarming at Gideon's feet, selling the tagline "Electronic Exorcist on the Edge" with real visual punch. Alongside the Judge Dredd feature, this issue brings Peter Milligan and Richard Elson together for "Shadows, Part 1," making it a fine pick-up for fans of 2000 AD's rich anthology tradition.
