Judge Dredd fills the cover of Prog 1488, his helmeted face twisted in a fierce snarl as he grips a gleaming cleaver — with a face reflected in its blade and the words "Surgical Strike! Can Dredd cut it before the perp goes boom?" etched across the steel. Colin MacNeil's painted cover work gives the image a visceral, almost cinematic intensity that suits the weekly's 2006 storytelling ambitions perfectly. Inside, Gordon Rennie and P. J. Holden continue "House of Pain" in Part 4, with Eva de la Cruz on colors and Tom Frame on letters rounding out the creative team.
