They have voted in harmony with reaction. They have defeated a reform mayor of demonstrated worth, who had every right to expect the backing of the women.—Philadelphia Telegraph. 'HERE is no reason why anyone should be disappointed over the quality of the results achieved by woman voters. For several thousands of years men have been applying a progressive unin- telligence to their votes.
