It ought to be assumed that the woman who is thus treated is lucky to get rid of the man who so treated her, and it is a pretty safe assumption that the woman who sues in such cases isn’t worth having—they are a bad lot, and neither is entitled to damages; but perhaps the money will enable the woman to get a decent husband, God help him!
