Pornsak Pichetshote
Pornsak Pichetshote is a Thai-American writer, editor, and producer known for bringing horror and social commentary together in comics. Born in Thailand, he later moved to the United States, where he built a career across television and comics. He entered the industry as an editor at Vertigo, DC’s mature-readers imprint, before shifting to writing. His most acclaimed work is *Infidel*, a horror series that uses supernatural terror to explore xenophobia and racism in contemporary America, which earned him Eisner and Harvey Award nominations. Pichetshote collaborated with artist Aaron Campbell on *Infidel*, and later wrote for *The Sandman Universe: Dead Boy Detectives* for DC. He has also contributed to *Marvel’s Voices: Identity*, *Exquisite Corpses*, and *Man’s Best*, as well as the independent horror series *The Sacred Damned*. His writing often blends genre thrills with sharp cultural critique, and he has worked with major publishers including DC, Marvel, and independent houses. Active from 2009 onward, Pichetshote continues to write and produce, expanding the range of voices in horror comics.
