The Good Asian #4

Issue four of The Good Asian delivers the same brooding noir atmosphere that has made this Image series so compelling. The cover — rendered in a striking black-and-white palette punctuated by bold red — depicts a masked figure in a long coat raising a blood-streaked hatchet overhead while aiming a pistol downward at a fedora-wearing figure below, with two bound women ghosted in red on the left side, evoking both threat and desperation. Pichetshote, Tefenkgi, Loughridge, and Powell continue to craft a visually arresting portrait of 1930s Chinatown crime that feels as urgent as it does atmospheric.
