The Silver Coin #14

Image Comics' anthology of dread continues with issue #14, and the cover by Michael Walsh sets an unsettling tone immediately — a pair of pale, mottled hands delicately threads a needle through a detached human eyeball, rendered in queasy pinks and greens against a near-black background. "The Bad Year," written by Pornsak Pichetshote with art, inks, colors, and letters by Michael Walsh (with additional colors from Toni Marie Griffin), promises the kind of intimate, creeping horror the series does so well. If this cover is any indication, whatever curse the silver coin carries this time around is going to get under your skin.
