Mark Beachum is an American comic book artist, painter, and filmmaker born in 1962, best known for his stylized, sensual depictions of the female form. Active from 1983 onward, he worked across Marvel, DC, and Continuity Comics, with notable credits on *Web of Spider-Man*, *Samuree*, *Vampirella*, and *Penthouse Comix*. His own creations include *Razmataz*, *Alienzkin*, and *Supergurlz*. Beachum’s art blends influences from Frank Frazetta, Hal Foster, Neal Adams, and Alex Toth, and he has openly described superheroes as an erotic idiom, aiming his work at adult audiences. In the industry, he was known for an unstructured work philosophy—writer Christopher Priest noted that Beachum was a notorious deadline-breaker, so Priest simply gave him scripts at his own pace, always guaranteeing steady work. Beachum also self-published through his own imprint. His signature elegance and sensuality set a standard that later artists like Adam Hughes and Frank Cho would follow. He remains active, with credits on *Champions*, *Flare*, and Spanish-language Spider-Man editions.
