“Dans la Zone Négative !”

In "Dans la Zone Négative !", Peter David and Mark Beachum deliver a tense, character-driven tale as Spider-Man's luck takes a sharp turn for the worse—leading him to Dr. Strange, who uncovers a hex tied to his recent run-in with the Black Cat. The spell's removal clears Spider-Man's curse but unexpectedly strips the Black Cat of her powers at the worst possible moment, just as she's deep in a heist. Jean-Yves Mitton's cover captures the moment's high stakes with sharp, dramatic flair.

Little things continue to go wrong in Spidey's life and he begins to suspect sinister forces are at work. He visits Dr. Strange who identifies a bad luck hex on the wall crawler which he obtained while working with the Black Cat. Dr. Strange removes the curse from Spidey but it also negates the Black Cat's powers. Unfortunately, she is in the middle of breaking into the Foreigner's pad and battling one of his goons when this takes place.
