Larry Stroman
Larry Stroman is an American comic book artist and writer best known for his work on Marvel's mutant titles and the space-faring series *Alien Legion*. He was born in the United States, though his exact birth date is not widely recorded. Stroman first gained attention illustrating the second volume of Epic Comics' *Alien Legion*, a gritty science-fiction series. That work led to assignments on major Marvel books, including *The Uncanny X-Men*, *X-Factor*, *Ghost Rider* (vol. 2), and *The Punisher*. He also contributed to DC Comics' *Darkstars* and Dark Horse Comics' *The Mark*. In the early 1990s, he briefly published his own creator-owned series, *The Tribe*, through Image Comics. Stroman's style is marked by bold, dynamic figure work and a knack for expressive, often angular anatomy, which suited both superhero action and off-world adventure. He collaborated frequently with writer John Francis Moore on *X-Factor* and with the creative team behind *Alien Legion*. Later in his career, he continued to work on *Alien Legion* sequels, including *Uncivil War*, and remained active in the industry through the 2010s. His contributions to *X-Factor* and *Alien Legion* have been recognized as influential within their genres.
