Alien Legion #2

The cover by Larry Stroman (pencils) and Frank Cirocco (inks) captures a tense, chaotic moment — a wounded legionnaire lies bloodied on the ground while a fellow soldier crouches protectively over him, as other members of the diverse squad, including a helmeted trooper and a white-haired alien woman, scramble through the craggy landscape with shadowy threats closing in on all sides. Chuck Dixon's story "Fragments" promises the kind of gritty, ensemble sci-fi action that made this series a standout in Marvel's Epic Comics line.
