Joëlle Jones (born February 20, 1980) is an American comic book artist and writer whose crisp, stylish linework and nuanced storytelling have made her a standout in the industry. She first gained widespread attention with *Lady Killer* (2015–2017), a Dark Horse series she both wrote and drew, which blended 1960s domesticity with a cold-blooded assassin’s tale. Jones’s cover work for Marvel and her later runs on DC’s *Batman* and *Catwoman* cemented her reputation; she wrote and illustrated the *Catwoman* relaunch, bringing a sharp, noir-inflected sensibility to Selina Kyle. Her other notable credits include *Wonder Girl*, *Supergirl: Being Super*, and the *Batman: Renacimiento* storyline. Jones often collaborates with colorist Laura Allred, whose vibrant palette complements her clean, expressive lines. A key co-creator of the *Lady Killer* universe, she has also written and drawn several original graphic novels. Active since 2006, Jones has earned multiple Eisner Award nominations for her work. She continues to shape modern comics with her distinctive voice, balancing action, character, and a darkly playful tone.
