Selina Kyle perches atop a dresser surrounded by a cluster of cats, holding a copy of Batman #50 and pointedly asking "I do? Or I don't?" — a wry, self-aware tease that sets the tone for this bold 2018 solo series launch. Her Catwoman costume hangs on the ornate mirror behind her, and the Art Nouveau-inflected backdrop gives the whole scene a glamorous, slightly dangerous elegance. Writer and cover artist Joëlle Jones, with colors by Laura Allred, signals right from this first issue that Selina's story is very much her own to tell.
