I. N. J. Culbard, a British comic artist, writer, and animator, is best known for his atmospheric, clean-lined work on creator-owned and licensed series. Born Ian Culbard, he entered the comics field in the early 2010s, quickly establishing a distinctive style marked by crisp storytelling, muted color palettes, and a keen sense of mood. His most celebrated collaboration is with writer Dan Abnett on the post-apocalyptic mystery *The New Deadwardians* and the sci-fi adventure *Wild’s End*, both of which Culbard illustrated, colored, and lettered.
