Dan Abnett and I. N. J. Culbard's Edwardian vampire noir continues with this unsettling third chapter, where a man sits bound to a chair — his hands tied with "Zone B" tape — surrounded by a semicircle of pale, otherworldly women in period corsets and lingerie, at least two of them masked and one holding a knife. Culbard's clean, precise linework gives the scene a stage-show theatricality undercut by genuine menace, all framed by heavy red curtains. Vertigo's mature-readers label feels well-earned here — this is a series with real atmosphere and style to spare.
