Fábio Moon
1976–
Fábio Moon is a Brazilian comic book artist and writer, best known for his lyrical, emotionally resonant work on *Daytripper* and *Casanova*. He was born in 1976 in São Paulo, Brazil, the twin brother of fellow artist Gabriel Bá. Moon’s path into comics began in the late 1990s, when he and Bá self-published their early work before breaking into the American market. His signature style blends clean, expressive linework with a warm, humanistic touch, often enhanced by his own coloring and lettering. He collaborated closely with Bá on *Daytripper*, a celebrated limited series exploring life’s fleeting moments, and with Matt Fraction on the stylish, genre-bending *Casanova* series. Moon also contributed to *B.P.R.D.: Vampire* and adapted Neil Gaiman’s *How to Talk to Girls at Parties*. His work is marked by a thoughtful, introspective quality that has earned him multiple Eisner Awards. Moon remains active in the industry, continuing to produce both mainstream and personal projects, and is regarded as a key figure in the Brazilian comics renaissance.
