The sixth and final chapter of Casanova: Acedia brings together Matt Fraction, Fábio Moon, Gabriel Bá, and novelist Michael Chabon for a genuinely unusual creative collaboration. The cover presents a striking procession of armored, helmeted figures — the broad-shouldered central figure viewed from behind, flanked by others fanning out in long dramatic shadows — rendered in a bold, limited palette of gold and deep burgundy that gives the whole image a retro-espionage poster feel. It's a confident, atmospheric close to one of 2016's more adventurous superhero-spy series.
