Zelma Stanton
Zelma Stanton debuted as a librarian who sought out Doctor Strange for help with a supernatural affliction, ultimately becoming entangled in the world of magic. She went on to develop mystical abilities of her own, later studying and teaching at academies devoted to the magical arts.
Zelma Stanton stepped into the Marvel Universe in 2015's Doctor Strange #1, a Modern Age creation brought to life by Khoi Pham, and she's carved out a genuinely compelling corner of Marvel's mystical landscape ever since. She's most at home in the pages of Strange Academy and its follow-up Strange Academy: Finals, where she shares adventures with a wonderfully eclectic cast including Shaylee Moonpeddle, Doyle Dormammu, and Zoe Laveau β exactly the kind of company that signals she's embedded in the richest, strangest veins of Marvel magic. With 34 catalog appearances spanning nearly a decade and roots stretching from Doctor Strange all the way through the Strange Academy era, she's a character whose presence has quietly grown into something meaningful. If you're a fan of Marvel's supernatural side, Zelma is absolutely worth tracking down.
