A student at Hamilton University who gains powers after a campus accident, Wannabe is part of the quirky ensemble in Freshmen — but her cruel twist is that she can only duplicate the powers of whoever is nearest to her, never developing a unique ability of her own.

Bursting onto the Image Comics scene in 2005, Wannabe is a Modern Age creation from writer Hugh Sterbakov and artist Leonard Kirk, debuting in the preview issue of Freshmen — one of the more spirited and offbeat superhero launches of that decade.
