Vic
Vic is a supporting character in DC's teen-humor series Leave It to Binky, inhabiting the same suburban teenage social world as protagonist Binky Biggs and his circle. He has no superpowers, playing the relatable everyman role typical of Golden Age teen-comedy comics.
A teen-world regular from the tail end of the Golden Age, Vic made his debut in Leave It to Binky #22 in 1951, brought to life by the creative team of Hal Seeger and Bob Oksner for DC Comics. Over a solid thirteen-year run, he carved out a cozy corner of the DC universe alongside the likes of Binky Biggs and Peggy Baxter β and his appearances stretch across some pretty distinguished company, with pages shared in Action Comics and Superboy alongside Clark Kent and Superman himself. With 29 catalog appearances and at least one collector-recognized key issue to his name, Vic is a charming slice of mid-century DC's lighter, slice-of-life side β exactly the kind of find that makes digging through Golden Age back issues such a rewarding adventure.
