Leave It to Binky #25
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC's long-running teen comedy series delivers another wonderfully awkward moment in this March/April 1952 issue, with cover art by Bob Oksner. The cover finds a scowling Binky dressed in a yellow apron and skirt — apparently mid-fitting — while a blonde girl kneels at his feet, pinning and adjusting the outfit with a tape measure and sewing supplies scattered around her. Adding perfect comic timing, a delighted young man peers through an open window in the background, clearly thrilled to have caught Binky in this embarrassing situation. Oksner's clean, expressive linework captures the humor and mortification in equal measure, making this a charming snapshot of mid-century teen comedy at its most entertaining.
