Road Pig
Road Pig is a savage, unpredictable bruiser who serves as a Dreadnok — the ruthless biker gang allied with Cobra — making him an enemy of G.I. Joe. Massively strong and erratic, he wields a cinder block on a chain as his signature weapon.
Road Pig burst onto the scene in 1989, debuting in the pages of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #83 under the watchful eye of Larry Hama and Ron Wagner — a Copper Age creation who's kept dangerous company ever since, sharing panels with the likes of Destro, Zartan, and Buzzer. Over a surprisingly durable run stretching more than three decades from 1989 to 2022, this bruiser has proven himself a persistent presence in the G.I. Joe universe across multiple series. It's a testament to the character's staying power that Road Pig has continued to haunt the franchise well into the modern era, a rough-edged figure who clearly left a mark on readers and writers alike.
