Oliver Hardy is the comic-book counterpart of the real-life screen comedian, depicted alongside partner Stan Laurel as one half of the legendary Laurel and Hardy duo. The rotund, pompous straight man to Laurel's bumbling innocence, Hardy appeared in licensed humor comics adapting their slapstick misadventures.
