Master Pandemonium
Master Pandemonium is a demonic Marvel villain who sold his soul to Mephisto, gaining a body literally host to demons — his torso opens to release them, and his limbs can detach as demonic creatures. He became entangled with the West Coast Avengers and the Scarlet Witch.
Few villains make an entrance quite like Master Pandemonium — bursting onto the scene in West Coast Avengers #4 in 1986, courtesy of the imaginative team of Steve Englehart, Al Milgrom, and Joe Sinnott, this Copper Age Marvel creation has haunted the corners of the Marvel Universe for over three decades. With 17 catalogued appearances spanning all the way to 2017, he's a figure of genuine cult significance, turning up across Fantastic Four, Avengers Assemble, and the celebrated Avengers: Scarlet Witch by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning — keeping dangerous company with the likes of The Thing, the Human Torch, and Simon Williams along the way. Two of those appearances carry key-issue status, making him a rewarding find for the discerning collector. Affiliated with the Fantastic Four and woven into some of Marvel's most emotionally charged storylines, Master Pandemonium is exactly the kind of gloriously sinister deep-cut that reminds you why the Copper Age was such a fertile, wonderfully weird era for comics.
