Haggy
Haggy made their comics debut in 1964 within the pages of a French Silver Age publication from Société Française de Presse Illustrée, stepping onto the scene in Cap'tain Présente Popeye #3 courtesy of creator Pierluigi Sangalli. Over the course of nearly a quarter-century, this character carved out a genuine presence across the Cap'tain Présente Popeye family of titles — racking up 90 catalog appearances alongside a colorful cast that includes Olive, Gontran, Poupa, Georges, and Les Rabougris. With one collector-recognized key issue to their name and a publishing run stretching all the way to 1987, Haggy is a rewarding discovery for fans of Franco-Belgian comics history and anyone who loves digging into the rich, often-overlooked corners of Silver Age storytelling.
