Grapple

Grapple is an Autobot who debuted in Marvel's original Transformers comic series. A construction-oriented Transformer, he serves as Cybertron's foremost architect and engineer, whose passion for design and building often puts his creative ideals in conflict with the harsh realities of the Autobot-Decepticon war.

Few Transformers carry the quiet distinction of a Marvel debut crafted by Bob Budiansky and Don Perlin, but Grapple has held that honor since rolling onto the scene in The Transformers #14 in 1986.
