Crotus

Crotus is a minor Marvel demon who appeared during the Inferno crossover event, operating in the service of the demon N'astirh and menacing young mutants including Boom-Boom and members of the New Mutants.

Crotus burst onto the scene in 1988's X-Terminators #1, a Copper Age creation from the formidable team of Louise Simonson and Jon Bogdanove — a debut that dropped this Marvel character right into the thick of some seriously wild company, sharing pages with the demon N'astirh, the fan-favorite Tabitha Smith/Boom-Boom, and the New Mutants' own Warlock and Roberto Da Costa. With appearances stretching across X-Terminators, The Mutant Misadventures of Cloak and Dagger, and Excalibur, Crotus touched several corners of the late-'80s and '90s Marvel universe before their final catalog appearance in 2010.
