The Mutant Misadventures of Cloak and Dagger

In the late 1980s, Marvel gave Cloak and Dagger their own ongoing series, The Mutant Misadventures of Cloak and Dagger, a 13-issue run that deepened the street-level saga of Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen. Written primarily by Terry Austin, with art from Mike Vosburg, Don Cameron, and Rick Leonardi, the book expanded their supporting cast, introducing Detective Rebecca "Rusty" Nales and exploring the fraught relationship between Dagger and her father, Father Michael Bowen. This series cemented the duo’s place in the Marvel Universe as troubled, light-and-dark heroes grappling with addiction, crime, and their own mutant abilities.
