Butt-Head
Butt-Head is the dim-witted, snickering teen from Marvel's comic adaptation of MTV's animated series. He spends his days watching music videos, causing low-grade mayhem, and dispensing absurd wisdom alongside his equally clueless best friend Beavis.
Few characters capture the gloriously lowbrow spirit of 1990s pop culture quite like Butt-Head, who crash-landed into comics with Beavis & Butt-Head #1 in 1994, brought to the page by creator Rick Parker under the Marvel banner. A true product of the Copper/Modern Age, he's shared panel space with an impressively eclectic crowd β from his ever-present co-star Beavis and neighborhood fixture Stewart Stevenson to heavy hitters like Spider-Man, Peter Parker, and Logan, making for some of the most unlikely crossover company in Marvel's history. With appearances spanning a remarkable thirty years, collected highlights in Beavis and Butt-Head's Greatest Hits, and at least one key issue to his name, Butt-Head has proven far more enduring than anyone might have predicted β a genuinely collectible slice of '90s cultural chaos that belongs on any shelf celebrating the weird, wonderful fringes of Marvel's output.
