Brainstorm

Brainstorm is an Autobot Headmaster — a Transformer whose head detaches to become a small humanoid pilot called a Nebulan. He partnered with a Nebulan to gain enhanced capabilities, joining the elite Headmaster faction alongside Fortress Maximus and Highbrow.

Bursting onto the scene in 1987 courtesy of Bob Budiansky and Frank Springer, Brainstorm is a Copper Age Marvel creation who made their mark in the pages of The Transformers: Headmasters — one of the era's most inventive corners of the Transformers universe. With a debut issue that puts them alongside heavy-hitters like Fortress Maximus, Highbrow, and the fearsome Scorponok, Brainstorm clearly kept elite company from the very start.
