Bonecrusher
Bonecrusher is a Decepticon Constructicon — one of six robots that combine to form the giant warrior Devastator. A bulldozer in vehicle mode, he joined fellow Constructicons Scrapper, Long Haul, Hook, Mixmaster, and Scavenger in Marvel's early Transformers storylines.
Rolling out of the Bronze Age in The Transformers #10 (1985), Bonecrusher is a Marvel Comics original brought to life by Bob Budiansky and Ricardo Villamonte — part of the early wave of Transformers characters who helped establish that landmark licensed series as a genuine comics phenomenon. Over four decades of publication history, Bonecrusher has kept remarkable company, sharing pages with the likes of Scrapper, Long Haul, Hook, and Scavenger, a roster that any Transformers devotee will immediately recognize. The character's presence stretches across crossover territory too, appearing in both G.I. Joe and the Transformers and G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers, making Bonecrusher a fixture wherever the big action of the Transformers comics universe unfolds. For collectors tracing the full arc of Marvel's Transformers line from its scrappy Bronze Age beginnings to the present day, Bonecrusher is one of those satisfying deep-cut finds worth hunting down.
